Seed Stitch Wrist Warmers

Seed Stitch Wrist Warmers

I always loved the wrist warmers people wore on TV, and they inspired me to create this pattern. The seed stitch wrist warmers are knitted from the top down, NOT side to side. When finishing the project, make sure to match up the two longer sides rather than the two short ends.

Materials
-1 skein of yarn (I used worsted weight)
-Size #8 knitting needles

-Tape measure or ruler

-Crochet hook or darning needle

-Scissors

Pattern (Make 2)
Cast on 24 st.
Row 1: k1, p1 until end of row

Row 2: p1, k1 until end of row

Repeat these two patterns until piece measures 7 in.

Cast off.

Finishing
Fold over the knitted piece matching up the two longer sides. Using a crochet hook or darning needle, sew the edge, leaving a 1 1/2 in. hole 1 1/2 in. from the one end. Do the same with the second piece and weave in ends. Enjoy!
